PSL unveiled nominees for the end season awards

The Premier Soccer League has this morning unveiled the 2019 upcoming end of season PSL awards nominees. The announcement was made at Durban ICC this morning. After what is dubbed as an impressive season for the Brazilians which saw them the premier league and the continental football, the 2018/19 champions are dominating in the nominees for the major awards.

Hlompho Kekana, Denis Onyano, Themba Zwane, Ricardo Nascimento and the team’s head coach Pitso Mosimane are among those who were nominated for the awards.

Mosimane will be battling against Micho Sredojevic and Benny McCarthy for the coach of the season award.

Although Kaizer Chiefs failed to secure their spot in the top eights, they have something to look forward to, with Khama Billiat and Bernard Parker being nominated for the Nedbank Cup player of the tournament award. Left back Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya is a nominee for the most promising player in the competition.
