Nomzamo Mbatha joins the Paramount’s sequel to Coming 2 America

South African actress and human rights activist Nomzamo Mbatha has joined the cast of Coming 2 America, Paramount’s sequel to its popular 1988 comedy.

It was confirmed in a short statement that Mbatha will be performing one of the lead roles in the follow-up to the trendy 1988 classic, which featured Eddy Murphy.

She will be joining a star-studded international cast, including the original cast of Eddy Murphy, James Earl Jones and Arsenio Hall. The new cast members include Jermaine Fowler, Wesley Snipes, Tracy Morgan, Leslie Jones, KiKi Layne, Rick Ross, Teyana Taylor and Garcelle Beauvais.

Not much is known about Mbatha’s new role yet, but the star has been retweeting posts about her new role. South Africans have flooded her feed with congratulatory messages.
