Man robbed and killed in Diepkloof

A man was discovered naked and bleeding, on the ground, in Diepkloof zone two, Soweto. The police and paramedics were immediately alerted but were unable to save the victim’s life as he died on the scene.

According to community members the victim was robbed and stabbed in the early hours of the morning. No arrests have been made thus far and the police are investigating the case. 

Community members are urged to assist the local police in catching the suspects so that justice prevails. Gauteng News tried to solicit a comment from the Diepkloof police station but the spokesperson was not available.

According to the latest crime statistics trio crime has increased since 2018 and the low number of arrests don’t balance the horrific crime stats. To help apprehend the suspects who robbed and killed the deceased man, community members must contact the Diepkloof Police station to 011 933 7400.
