EduTech Africa 2019 exploring education in technology

EduTech Africa 2019 hosted an exciting exhibition and start up zone featuring technology and educational tools that are taking the market by storm at the Sandton Conversion Center.  This was prompted by South Africa entering the 4th industrial revolution and introducing technology in education and also allowing for progression to take place, as it is changing the culture of learning.

Palesa Thys, Coordinator of EduTech Africa said, “The EduTech Africa 2019 is intentionally designed to inspire and encourage knowledge exchange and to showcase disruptors who have a transformative impact on every aspect of education. It is an event that unites all leading stakeholders, principals, deans, teachers and educators in every discipline as well as start-ups and innovators too.”

The Seminar emphasized how education, through technology, is constantly changing. EduTech Africa 2019 brought all the elements in education together under one roof, new thinking, new technology, personal development and best practice in the industry.

“Our highlights include interactive experience zones featuring LEGO education products, the possibilities of the talking dictionary in a South African classroom, smart classrooms and web enabled learning management,” added Thys.
