Born in Kroonstad in the Free State, this young bright woman has dedicated much efforts and hard work towards her dreams and making them a reality.
Tshepo Makupu stands today, in her late twenties, an empress (crowned the first Epress South Africa pageant winner in 2019) , entrepreneur, motivational speaker, mental health advocate and philanthropist.
Tshepo is the proud owner of TPM Mobile Spa, offering massage services in the comfort of your home. She has volunteered with multiple organisations such as Thandabantu Community Services, Food for Life and Epworth Children’s Village. She’s pioneered blanket drive donations and sanitary towel donation. She also runs a mental health awareness initiative named Palesa ya Setshaba.
A woman with many hats. Physical health is just as important to her as you will find her either jogging or practicing yoga. Among her other hobbies, Tshepo enjoys reading. She prefers books that help her grow and develop her leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
As former Mrs South Africa Matapa Maila said, “Empowered women empower women, Tshepo is guided by this philosophy as she continues through her journey. Her love for reading has extended to writing her first book titled “The Magic Mind” where she talks about the power of liberating the mind while overcoming depression”.
The book is inspired by her personal journey with depression and how she survives.She may have a nine-five job at the moment, but her ultimate goal is for her mobile spa company, TPM Mobile Spa, to grow to greater heights.
Her entrepreneurial vision expands further into the beauty industry withplans to go into property as well. Makupu is currently the finalist of Miss Radiant South Africa 2020 pageant.
