Attredgeville entrepreneur keen to create business opportunities

The founder of local brand Vibe Heist Mbofholowo Freedom Khomola (30) is on the journey to create business opportunities for like-minded people.

From his humble beginnings in Venda, Limpopo where he was born and bred before moving to Pretoria, Khomola realised his talent after being exposed to music events and hosting parties.

With a host of creatives coming up with their own unique designs in the fashion industry, Vibe Heist is a local brand you can choose from.

“I used to turn up at the event, and I came up with the idea of starting my clothing brand since most of the people were attracted to the local clothing brand. The clothing brand name simply attracts and talks to the people who get to the place and have fun,” Khomola said.

Vibe Heist Sells T-shirts, Bucket hats and Sweaters. Khomola said that it is no longer a clothing brand only, but it also specializes in organizing events, coordinating and marketing. Khomola said that the only breakthrough to tackle the issue of high unemployment rate is to start up small businesses.

“Being an entrepreneur is not only looking for self-success but also creating opportunities for others too. The unemployment rate itself and the economy in our country already is a matter which needs to be dealt with. The only way to start fighting these issues will be through entrepreneurship,” Khomola said.

In partnership with Managa Communications Khomola said that they have already started events which will be sort of a business cycle or exhibition. According to Khomola those events also aim to assist upcoming artists to come show off their talents and market themselves.

“Here we invite all start-ups and small businesses to come and exhibit themselves. These events also help upcoming artists to come show off their talents and market themselves. We have one upcoming on the 07th of November at Kutama Guest House in Pretoria west,” Khomola said.

“I am very happy with the great support that I am receiving around Pretoria, people rock streets wearing my brand. The upcoming local musicians in Pretoria demand the merchandise to promote my business everywhere,” Khomola said.
