Banda qualifies for International Arts Talent Showcase in New York

Johannesburg based artist and business woman Mokgadi Banda will represent South Africa on the next round of IMTA’s International Arts Talent Showcase. The event will be held in New York, United Stated of America from 17 to 24 July 2021.

Banda qualified after participating on the IMTA’s talent scouting that was hosted at Sliver Star Casino, on the 29-31 October 2020. IMTA was looking for actors, singers, dancers and models from African continent. 

“I am asking for sponsorship from anyone and interested people can contact me on +27 76 732 9113. There will be two Bootcamps taking place in Gauteng as build-ups to the main event in New York City. Bootcamp one will be from 15 to 17 January 2021 and the second one will be from 9 to 11 April 2021. By offering sponsorship, it falls in line with cooperate social responsibility strategy. I hope interested people will find it in their strategic plans to sponsor me so that I can go and showcase South African talent on the global stage”, she said.

Banda represents South Africa at high levels and going to America is an opportunity to turn her dreams into reality. It will also fly the South African national flag on an international stage by showcasing her singing talent.  

Banda was born at Lebowakgomo in Limpopo province but moved to Johannesburg in 2007 with her parents. A talented artist she will have an opportunity to network with over 300 industry professionals, from around the world in New York through IMTA International Models and Talent.
