The sky truly is the limit and six-year-old DJ Arch Jnr is a living testament of this. The young
boy from South Africa featured on the latest season of America’s Got Talent (AGT) and
wowed the judges and the audience with an incredible performance, leaving the likes of
Simon Cowell close to tears.
This season of the world’s biggest talent show is all about the champions. It pits the winners
of AGT from across the world against each other for a chance to be crowned the champion
of champions.
If DJ Arch Jnr’s performance was an indication of how he will do in the competition then we
should rest easy because he is a huge talent and America will do right in recognising that.
Who is DJ Arch Jnr?
DJ Arch Jnr, born Oratilwe Hlongwane, was only three-years-old when he won 2015’s South
Africa’s Got Talent (AGT’s spin-off franchise). He also has his name etched in the Guinness
Book of World records as the youngest club DJ in history.
Conquering the AGT stage in the US is his latest stride in his journey of greatness and it
takes a lot for Cowell to think so too.
The little lad is known best for how he switches and jiggles around with genres like House
music and Gqom. However, this time around, he respectfully gave the Americans a taste of
their own medicine and paced through some Pop 80’s classics, much to the pleasure of the
studio.

At the end of his performance, he received a standing ovation and much praise from the
judges.
Cowell himself, was left in awe and he had nothing but great things to say about the six-
year-old.
“You and I need to be talking after this show because I’ve got some plans for you, trust me. I
think you are a total, total, little star. I absolutely love you” said Cowell
“You’re six-years-old, you flew all the way in from South Africa to take on the best. It’s all
down to the 50 states now. What a way to start the show. You are everything that this show
is all about. Thank you,” Cowell said as he continues.
