Chiefs victorious over Amazulu

Kaizer Chiefs started the league with a defeat last week against Polokwane City but were able to redeem themselves yesterday when they faced off with Amazulu FC. The intense standoff saw Kaizer Chiefs triumphing with a 2-0 victory at the King Zwelithini stadium in Umlazi, Durban.

Amazulu were denied 2 opportunities, throughout the match, when their would-be goals were considered offside by match officials. Intensifying the already intense match Kaizer Chiefs appeared more composed in the second half but only scored their first goal in the 83rd minute.

Khama Billiat ended the game with a wonderful finish when he scored a beautiful goal from within the box and confused the goalkeeper.

Amakhosi appear to be back in their winning form but only time will tell as the Absa Premiership League continues.
