The Executive Mayor of the city of Johannesburg, Councillor Herman Mashaba together with the Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Economic Development, Councillor Leah Knott will on the 1st of April reveal yet another batch of properties at New Council Chamber in Braamfontein.
The properties will help turn the City of Johannesburg into a construction site that creates jobs and affordable quality accommodation for the residents. The full prospectus of properties is expected to draw an investment value of between R20 billion and R25 billion over the entire development period.
These properties, many of which are group into large portion of land, are being released across several regions, including Randburg, Rosebank, Orange Groove, Houghton, and Wynberg. The aim is to establish mixed-use developments, affordable housing and student accommodation.
