Seven teachers from Eldorado Park Secondary Schoolwho have allegedly accused the school principal of abuse have been prohibited by parents to enter the school premises. The parents of the school pupils demand the seven teachers to be criminillay charged asthat they believe that the principal is falsely accused.
According to the school governing body (SGB) member Glenwell Sweetland, “that report showed that the department had appointed a law firm to conduct an investigation into allegations against the principal, such as no teaching and learning due to lack of teachers; corruption and financial mismanagement; failure to resolve issues; appointments; an alleged assault by the principal; racism and principal conduct.”
The findings also revealed that the principal allegedly pulled a knife on one of the teachers and further organised members of the community to intimidate one of the teachers. The investigation also revealed that there was no evidence of financial mismanagement or incidents of racism. The department of education further stated that the SGB would give the six teachers access to school premises so teaching can proceed.
