FAME Academy SA is moving forward with its mission as a training institution to build on its existing offerings and broadening its services in the education sector after taking over an Engineering College and converting it into a faculty called FAME School of Engineering. The school of engineering will operate under FAME Academy SA.
FAME Academy SA’s curriculum provides the most up-to-date skills and tools that aspiring professionals need to navigate a career in. At this point, the programme areas of focus are Performing Arts, Sound Engineering, Film and TV, Radio, Journalism, Fashion Design, and Fine & Visual Arts.
Students have access to industry professionals on a daily basis; the academy’s faculty is composed of those working and professionally connected to the education and arts industry. In addition to daily access via their instructors, students in all programs have curriculum specifically designed to enhance their access to other outside industry professionals.
The FAME Academy SA Principal Reabetswe Molapo says their team is working on expanding the academy, with plans to operate as a Further Education Training (FET) institution.
“Our management has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to grow the institution as an FET that is here to make a difference. We are now offering engineering courses and diplomas as well as post graduate qualifications. The FAME Academy SA is here to stay,” says the principal.
Those looking to make a career change or to brush up on any skills that FAME Academy SA offers, can register now and start as early as January. Registrations are now open for students who want to pursue engineering. Please email engineering@fameacademysa.co.za or WhatsApp 072 681 3682 or landline 010 745 2132 for inquiries.
