Gauteng Learners Encouraged to Access 2025 Matric Results Online for Privacy and Convenience

The Gauteng Provincial Government has reaffirmed its commitment to digital accessibility by encouraging matriculants to use the Gauteng Matric Results Online System to access their 2025 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination results.

The online platform enables learners to check their results quickly, securely and privately using smartphones, tablets, or other digital devices, as soon as the results are officially released. This initiative aims to reduce anxiety often associated with results day while ensuring dignified and confidential access to academic outcomes.

According to the Gauteng Department of e-Government, the system was designed to prioritise ease of use and data protection, allowing learners to view their results in a supportive environment of their choice.

Gauteng MEC for the Department of e-Government, Bonginkosi Dhlamini, said the platform empowers learners by placing critical academic information directly in their hands.

“This digital platform ensures that matriculants can access their results easily and securely, while maintaining the privacy they deserve as they reflect on their achievements and prepare to take their next steps after completing school,” said Dhlamini.

The online results will be available from Tuesday, 13 January 2026. Learners can access their results by visiting the official Gauteng Provincial Government results portal at:

To view results, learners must enter their examination number and click “search”.

The provincial government says the initiative forms part of broader efforts to modernise public services and support young people as they transition into higher education, training institutions, or the world of work
