Khulekani Sydwell Nxumalo popularly known as “Mr K” is one of a success, balancing both the talent filled with passion and a prospering profession. Such achievements can only be accomplished through visions and dedications.
Apart from reaching heights of his profession, his story also chases the art passion which showed up during his high school days where he developed the love for the arts, specifically acting. With the attitude of investing time in activities that he would not neglect; he is now a recording artist.
The journey for which he acknowledges the legendary musician, D.J. Oskido for a breakthrough.
Mr K Nxumalo hails from Ezakheni, Ladysmith in KwaZulu Natal. The importance of education has had an essential role in his life- enrolled and graduated B.Sc. Chemical Engineering at the University of KwaZulu Natal. He also holds Masters in Finance & Investment from Wits University where he furthered his studies.
A complexity of experience was refined from serving severalorganizations. Following his position as an acting COO at Rand water, he is currently Executive Chairman at SYDWALT (Pty) Ltd, an independent engineering Consulting firm based in Johannesburg.
His debut Album is titled “Put God First”. The album is a combination of both dance music and ballads. Having been inspired by the Psalms of David, the King of Israel, “He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God” (Psalms 40:3).
He describes all the happenings toward the recording until the release period as “divine intervention”.
According to him, it’s possible and imperative that the spiritual messages be delivered in various beats and melodies of music. The album covers the spiritual journey and his hunger for the teachings of the word of God.
This astonishing artist whose composition skills were also refined by his poetry talent, crafted a 12-song spiritual uplifting album to inspire music fans. This production is a great piece of work with ultimate innovation from various producers including DJ Spelete, DJ Chase, Cianda, Mshimaro.
The album has now been released with music videos and a feature documentary.
