With the help of good Samaritans from Kasie Outreach a family in Delville, Germiston who lost their belongings in a blaze on Sunday can now breathe a sigh of relief. Basic necessities have been presented by Kasie Outreach to the traumatized Mchithakali family.
The group is a non-profit faith based organization that is based in Ekurhuleni.
A stack of beans, warm clothes and cutlery were handed over to the family. Words of encouragement and prayer were offered to the Mchithakali family.
Simphiwe Malunga (24), the founder of Kasie Outreach said that they would like to extend their gratitude to people who generously donated to the Kasie Outreach community programme.
“Since 2018, our efforts have proved to be successful and effective throughout informal settlements and the city of Ekurhuleni,” he said.
Because of the tragic fire that destroyed all their belongings, Nomhle Mchithakali a mother of two sons Lonwabo and Jabulani, she is currently staying with her nephew in Sky City.
“My granddaughter is in Pretoria and my two sons are staying at the back of my house in the darkness without electricity,” she said.
“I would like to thank Kasie Outreach for their prayers and donations. For the first time since the accident I was able to have a peaceful nights rest,” she added.
The Mchithakali family desperately has appealed for assistance and would appreciate any donations.
