Lethabo Mashinini safe and sound

On the eighteenth of September Gauteng News reported on 18 year old Lethabo Mashinini, from Kagiso extension eleven, West Rand who went missing fromSeptember 14th.

The 18 year old was found at a friend’s place in Kagiso and Gauteng News can confirm that Mashinini was returned home safe and sound. 

“We can confirm that Lethabo was found at a friend’s place. It was a very stressful time for her family but we are glad she’s safe and didn’t get hurt or murdered,considering the gender based violence that has been taking place lately. 

“She returned home to her uncle after [going AWOL for]six days and called her mum to say that she was back. Lethabo says she left because of a misunderstanding she had with her mom. She further stated that she had been sleeping on the streets of Krugersdorp all along”,said Captain Sibiya from Kagiso Police Station.
