Commander in Chief of the EFF Julius Malema is taking action against the South African Post Office and the minister of communications following the horrific rape and murder of, University of Cape Town student, Uyinene Mrwetyana.
Malema added that the SA Post Office should have known about the rapist considering the previous charges that were imposed on him.
“A responsible government and employer should have known this by not employing a person with a criminal record”, said Julius.
The suspect, who still remains unidentified, accused of Mrwetyana’s murder was arrested and later appeared in court on Monday where he confessed to the crimes.
A memorial service was held at UCT by grieving students and family members and protests have since been organized against killings of women and children across the country.
