Nine year old laid to rest after car accident

Nine year old Khensani was involved in a car accident and lost her life, on the scene, when a 72 year oldwoman lost control and drove her car into a group of people. The said group was standing by the gate, after attending a service at Charismatic Zoe Bible Church inPimville, Soweto zone five.

Currently the case is under investigation and the Protea Magistrate court prosecutor will have to confirm if the elderly woman is charged with culpable homicide.

“Currently the case is still under investigation and we’re waiting for the post mortem report to be released in order to confirm if the 72 year old woman will be charged with culpable homicide.

We are not sure when the report will be released but the prosecutor will inform us about the final decision. This is a serious case so its hard to confirm if the old woman will be prosecuted,” said Captain Ngwenya spokesperson of Kliptown police station.

The nine year old was accompanied by her grandmother when they attended the church service. The family is traumatized and grieving for the young Khensani who was buried on Saturday at Olifantsvlei Cemetery, South of Johannesburg.
