Parents shut down Windmill Primary School

Pupils from Windmill Primary school in Boksburg, on the East Rand, were dismissed early on Wednesday morning following violence that erupted between parents and foreigners.

This came after fake news spread throughout the whole of Johannesburg that foreign nationals had kidnapped 17 children at a school in Katlehong. Parents, from every corner, rushed to fetch their kids before something worse transpired.

Some pupils are reported to have jumped the school fence seeking safety in the midst of the uproar.

This also comes as a result of the looting and xenophobic attacks across Gauteng where 293 people are reported to have been arrested so far.
