The five accused in the Senzo Meyiwa murder case are set to appear at the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court again on Friday.
Khulela Themba Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Chris Mncube, Mthokoziseni Zifozonke Mapisa and Sifiso Ntuli are accused of killing the late Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.
At their first appearance, four of the five suspects denied involvement in the murder of the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper.
They claim they are being used as scapegoats. The four were given until Friday to apply for legal aid or appoint lawyers.
The fifth suspect already has representation.
Meyiwa was shot and killed six years ago at his girlfriend’s home Kelly Khumalo.
