Aviation Expo for Gauteng Learners

An Aviation Expo was held recently at Johannesburg for school pupils who might be interested in the Aviation industry. 27 year old, Boitumelo Katisi is one of the youngest Commercial Pilots in South Africa, and she was one of the key speakers who motivated and encouraged learners from the township not to be defined by their circumstances but must continue to dream big.

Pimary vision is to spread information about the aviation sector, they identify and mentor them and assist them to receive financial support. Learners showed excitement and curiosity as they learned a great deal about aviation and how they can be part of this exciting industry.

1500 learners from 18 schools across Gauteng attended the Aviation Expo and pupils who attended the expo had an opportunity to engage with Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers. Katisi, is planning to expand the aviation expo to Venda and Thohoyandou and she plans to take over the province of Limpopo, young people are invited to attend this exciting expo and should any aspiring pilot wish to attend the next aviation expo they should follow Boitumelo Katisi.
