Police are searching for a suspect, believed to be the boyfriend of a 26-year old woman whose body was found on Saturday evening, 17 October 2020 in a house in Orange Farm.
Preliminary evidence suggests that the woman was stabbed multiple times with a weapon found not far from the scene. The circumstances surrounding the murder are under investigation, with the motive yet to be determined.
The investigation is being prioritised in line with the SAPS commitment to prioritise the investigations of gender based violence and femicide.
