HAMBA WENA hitmaker, Deep London, has made a comeback in the music scene with a new love song titled iThuba. The song is a collaboration between two talented artists, Nkosazana Daughter and was released on Friday, 7 April.
DJ and producer, Deep London, whose real name is Lita Kupelo from East London, has a diverse sound that is both catchy and soothing at the same time. He worked alongside well-known Amapiano producer, Villosoul, who has created a masterpiece that captures the essence of love.
Villosoul’s expertise is evident in the downtempo, melodic nature of the song, which sets the perfect mood for a love song. Nkosazana Daughter’s skill as a songwriter shines through in the heartfelt and relatable lyrics of the song.
Deep London told Gauteng News that the iThuba song reflects the remarkable power of love as it brings lovers together despite distance and time. “IThuba which means “chance” is a beautiful love song that tells the story of two people who overcome their communication breakdown to find their way back to each other,” he said.
He said the song speaks about the power of love and the importance of never giving up on it.
“In the song, the lady suspects that the guy is seeing someone else, and their relationship falls apart. However, they eventually meet again and realize that they still love each other and give each other a second chance and vow to never let distance come between them again,” he said.
He said he believes that everyone deserves a second chance, and sometimes, all it takes is a little effort to make things work.
Deep London emphasizes that the song is one of the best he has ever produced, and he wants the listeners to pay attention to the message that the song conveys.
Deep London had previously teamed up with “Siyathandana” hitmaker Boohle to release “Egoli”.
