Community members of Jabulani, Soweto are urged to join the cleaning campaign that will be taking place this week organised by the Jabulani SAPS’s Youth Desk. The cleaning campaign will be taking place with the area of Jabulani and parents are also encouraged to be a part of the operation as the campaign will be also focusing on schools.
The Jabulani SAPS’ Youth Desk is known for its philanthropist work as they have previously donated sanitary pads to local primary and high schools around Soweto. The Youth Desk saw the need to clean up the local township as schools are affected by the smell of the waste and it has a negative impact on the environment.
Parents getting involved will assist them in being part of their children’s education and also setting a good example for the young generation. The Jabulani SAPS’ Youth Desk encourages young people to change their behaviour when it comes to keeping the environment clean and develop a habit to live in a clean environment and be responsible citizens.
