A Johannesburg Metro Police Department female officer was accidently hit and killed, by a car, on the M1 off ramp in Sandton, while conducting traffic on Thursday morning. The woman driving the car was arrested on the scene and has been charged with culpable homicide.
Gauteng News spoke to the spokesperson of JMPD Wayne Minnaar, “This accident is really bad because she was an officer on duty with full uniform directing traffic. This is a very bad reflection of the woman who hit the officer and as JMPD we are very angry and we hope justice will be served.”
