Mayor determined to close potholes

The newly elected Executive Mayor of City of Johannesburg, Councillor Geoff Makhubo, is on a mission to eliminate all potholes on Johannesburg roads. Three months ago him and his team committed to improving the daily lived experiences of Johannesburg residents by improving the infrastructure of the city’s roads.

Keeping in line with this commitment, today he will be kicking off the city-wide campaign to eliminate potholes in the City of Johannesburg.

“We are determined to improve our roads. Johannesburg residents can help to accelerate service delivery by reporting existing potholes via email on hotline@jra.org.za, tweet @myjra or call 0860 Joburg (562874), with the exact location of the potholes” said Councillor Geoff Makhubo.
