Most wanted suspects apprehended by Moroka police

Two male suspects appeared in the Protea Magistrate Court after they were arrested by the Moroka police last Sunday night at Chiawelo and Mapetla, Soweto. The suspects were the most wanted in the jurisdiction and they were arrested for the possession of unlicensed firearms. Both suspects appeared before the court, however, they both had no legal representation and were advised by the judge to apply for legal Aid, and the case was therefore postponed. 

The two firearms were recovered by the police officers, and the first suspect was apprehended for serious crimes including committing several murders in the Dobsonville area. The second suspect is disabled and in a wheel chair. 

Gauteng News spoke to Captain Khosa spokesperson for Moroka Police Station, “The suspect who is in a wheelchair is believed to be the driver of a minibus which is robbing people around Soweto. He was found with an unlicensed firearm and it is not the first time he appears in police custody.” 

The disabled suspect was arrested for murdering aforeign national shop keeper and the police of Moroka station appeal to all victims of these suspects to come forward in order to identify the suspects.  Currently thesuspects are facing charges of murder, attempted murder and possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
