22-year-old Nicholas Ninow, accused of raping a 7-year-old girl at a Dros Restaurant in Silverton, pleaded guilty at the Pretoria High Court.
Ninow stated that he was under the influence of drugs when the alleged rape took place in September 2018 in one of the Dros toilets.
“On the day of the incident I had consumed alcohol. I also bought 200 grams of CAT [illegal substance found in his possession]. After drinking I felt nauseous and went to the female toilets where I took my pants down and created the impression that I was using the toilet. I continued to use more CAT and took off my shirt as I was already wet. While I was busy taking in the drug a child opened the door and said that she wants to urinate”, Ninow explained.
Ninow later pleaded guilty to drug possession and defeating the ends of justice.
