#NotInMyName shows support to the family of two children allegedly burnt by mother

Civil rights movement #NotInMyName attended the court proceedings of a  25-year-old Pretoria woman who is charged with the gruesome murder of her two children aged five and eight.

Kamogelo and Relebogile were found burnt beyond recognition at an abandoned building in Atteridgeville two months ago.

#NotInMyName, Secretary General Themba Masango says what is painful is that the children have not yet been buried because the autopsy report has not been concluded.

“The longer the children are in the mortuary, the longer the family suffers secondary victimization. We will continue supporting the family anyway possible to make sure that Kamogelo and Relebogile get the justice they deserve.”

Masango said they will continue to stand in solidarity with the family. “We will continue to stand with the family to make sure that justice is served and offer support where it is needed,” said Masango.

The case was postponed to 14 June for the availability of the Magistrate.
