Parktown Boys learner dissapears at school camp

13-year-old Enock Mpianzi went missing on a school camp on 15 January at a lodge in Brits, North West. The Parktown Boys learner had gone missing while on a school orientation camp and was last seen on Wednesday during a water activity in a nearby river. 

Parktown Boys immediately shared a post of a missing person on their Facebook page and a rescue operationthen ensued. The search team looked for the teenager near the river and in open spaces around the lodge.

The department of education has taken a decision to cancel the orientation school camp and learners will return on Friday. Representatives from the department are at the scene to monitor the rescue team. Follow Gauteng News as the story unfolds.
