SACIA to host inter-generational youth experience high tea

The high tea is at it again bringing an outdoor affair experience at scenic Blandford Manor in Johannesburg on 30 August.

The SACIA Youth Engagement office together with its Student Council and Young Professional’s Forum will be hosting an inter-generational and youth experience high tea. 

The event focuses on empowering the next generation of industry leaders, creative and professionals. The high tea is a platform for young leaders to meet women that are in the industry across technical communication sector. The event caters for female leadership in all industries and it will attract other women who are interested in succeeding in government, business and media industries. 

The speakers will be focusing on challenges that women face to access the media industry and how women are being classified as second-class citizens in male dominated industries. Speakers will also be challenging access to storytelling in established broadcasters such as SABC, E.tv and Dstv. 

Natalie Delport from SACIA will be sharing her story as woman in leadership and her ten year-journey in the SACIA association. Delport will also explore the role of women in transformation the broadcast industry and celebrating success stories of women in the industry. 

The high tea will be also offering lifestyle, health and fitness tips.

Speakers will also be sharing their challenges in television and film industry. Furthermore, The Speed Date Mentorship network will be offered to 3 young women for 30 minutes with established women in the industry.
