Computers stolen at Centurion licensing centre

The City of Tshwane has suspended some services at the Centurion Driving License Centre following a break-in and theft of working equipment on Wednesday night.

The City’s spokesperson Lendela Mashigo today said the burglars stole 35 computers during the incident.

“The following services are currently suspended until further notice, driving license renewals, registration and licensing of motor vehicles,” said Mashigo.

“The centre will continue to render the services for application and testing for driving licenses, application and testing for learner licenses.”

Mashigo urged residents to use alternative centres such as Watloo, Rayton, Akasia and Bronkhorstspruit.
