Thembi Kgatlana Foundation developing female football

23 year old Thembi Kgatlana, is giving back to her community in Mohlakeng, Randfontein through her Thembi Kgatlana Foundation by assisting women who play soccer in Mohlakeng.

The Banyana Banyana striker aims to support and develop female football in the township and open avenues for unrecognised talent to be spotted by potential investors.

“We work on inspiring a girl child every year, so I thought to myself let me not be a woman investing in male football but rather invest in female football. This is why we decided to grow female football here in Mohlakeng to support and develop female oriented activities,” said Kgatlana.

Participants who would like to be involved in the tournament can join the exciting project from 11 to 14 December and it will only take four days at Ace Ntsoelengoe Stadium in Mohlakeng.
