The Moroka police are looking for a suspect who shot and killed two people over the weekend at Mofolo, Soweto. It is alleged that the two victims were the occupants of a light motor vehicle when the incident took place on Saturday.
Gauteng News spoke to the spokesperson of Moroka Police Station Captain Khosa, “According to the driver, acertain male attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued driving. The man started shooting at the two men in the vehicle and the two occupants were fatally wounded during the shooting”.
Captain Khosa added that the injured occupants were rushed to Mofolo Clinic but were declared dead when they arrived at the clinic. The motive for the killing is still unknown and the police are appealing to anyone who can assist them with any information that can lead to the breakthrough of this case. “Anyone with information can contact Detective Commander Colonel Van Wyk at Moroka Police Station”, said Captain Khosa.
