UNISA modifies its application model

Unisa has changed its application model to be more ‘open and continuous’ in order to allow applications to run throughout the year. This, however, does not guarantee applicants the leeway to register for the next semester or even the subsequent academic year. It will all depend on whether the applicant meets the necessary admission requirements, provided the qualification is not full or over-subscribed, and whether the registration period has commenced.

Unisa states that there is no closing date but specific qualifications may be closed for applications when a qualification is full or at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the registration period.

After applying applicants can expect feedback no later than a week, from Unisa, before the closing date for registrations. Applicants will then have 10 working days to accept or reject Unisa’s offer.
