YOUNG BUSINESSMAN CONTRIBUTES SUCCESS TO FATHER’S MENTORING

Prudence Musera

Midrand- Meet Ntendeni Muambadzi (25) ,  a young entrepreneur originally from Thohoyandou, Limpopo.

In an interview with Gauteng News Muambadzi told us about his life’s journey and how he is making it in the tough business world.

Muambadzi is the founder of Amba Financial Services, a company he formed in 2016 during his final year at university.

Muambadzi’s began his basic education at Livha Combined school and matriculated  at  Ridgeway College in 2007. This is where his passion for numbers grew exponentially which led to him taking up accounting and advanced mathematics in university. Little did he know that this step would be a stepping stone to greater things in his career.

Initially as a young businessman starting out he needed capital injection and had to explore options available to him.

“This led to me exploring other services and didn’t require much such as doing company registration and exploring the tender business. This sustained me and kept the business afloat during its unstable times”, said Muambadzi.

According to Ntendi, as he is affectionately known to his industry peers his greatest inspiration came from his father Mr Daniel T Muambadzi who has been in business for a steady 25 years.

“He’s been involved in business since 2002. He would take him to work on weekends. This is where I drew my inspiration from and realized that I wanted to make a living from financial services. There is no doubt that he has played a role in shaping who I am”, he said.

Amba Financial Services main focus areas are financial services. This include wealth management, debt management , investment and insurance planning and financial statements to name just a few.

Armed with a Bcom in Accounting, which he attained from Pearson Institute of Higher Education  he is a member  of South African Institute of Business Accountants. His aim is to be a member of the reputable Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, which he is working on.

The company has grown exponentially with over 100 clients in its first year of business. It has branches in Polokwane, Tzaneen and Giyani.

Growth for his company is what Maumbadzi is aiming for in 2019. He has hit the ground running.

“ At Amba Financial Services he aims to provide quality and timeous services that will add value to our clients”, said an excited Mumbadzi.
