Fikile Muchave’s passion for music began when she joined a choir in Hlangabazela Primary School, where she was a learner.
The Khutsong born gospel artist later joined the Badirile Christian Movement and sang at the church to nurture and pursue her talent.
Muchave recorded her first single ‘Everlasting to Everlasting’ in 2016, with Jesus Christ Family Fellowship Centre’s group called Blessed Warriors.
“I did not have the idea of pursuing a career in music even though I like to sing all the time, my pastor showed me the importance of registering my compositions,” she said. She then registered her first single with South African Music Rights Organisation.
Muchave is currently nominated for South African Upcoming Music Awards for the best gospel song “Uyingcwele Nkosi Yamazulu”,Mzantsi Arts and Media Awards(#MAMA2020) and Golden Arts and Media Awards. She has recorded ‘King of Glory’, an album with ten songs.
“Knowing that God has everything in control so no matter how difficult things may seem,I hold on to his promises, ”she said.The upcoming gospel star sings contemporary religious songs inspired by the bible.
Her future plans include recording a new album and a live DVD.This independent gospel artist is sponsoring herself throughout the gospel singing journey.
