Two teenagers have been arrested for allegedly killing a 15 year old girl who was discovered last week by both communities of Protea North and Naledi, Soweto, under a bridge connecting the two communities.
Local police arrested two male suspects aged 18 and 19 on Tuesday and the community assisted in discovering the young girl’s body.
The suspects are expected to appear at the Protea Magistrate court.
Gauteng News tried to reach Naledi SAPS spokesperson, Constable Dakalo Phemula, for comment but were unsuccessful at the time.
Police say the cause of death is still unknown as they are still waiting for results from the forensics report.
