SAA Pilot visits Riverlea Primary School

Riverlea Primary School held an honours day celebrating learners from grades four and seven who had been top achievers for 2019, and an experience of “Oscar Award” with red carpets for parents and teachers was provided.


The school’s honours day had a special guest from the South African Airways, Lee Peters who is a pilot and a community member from the Riverlea Primary school gave a special talk to learners and teachers. Parents were also invited to honour their children and receive a motivational talk from Peters.

He told the pupils that they must dedicate themselves to their studies and invest in the future.Top achievers received an Oscar Award and Lee was honoured by the school principal, Marcelle Elephant, when he invited him on stage and thanked him for his contribution in uplifting their community and playing an important role in inspiring young people.
