Siya Kolisi a victim of crime

One would have assumed that winning the Rugby World Cup could cut our Springbok players some slack but we couldn’t be more wrong. Captain Siya Kolisi’s car was broken into on Wednesday afternoon while he was with his wife.

A security guard who witnessed the ordeal, while the Kolisis were out, managed to  subdue the criminal. Attempts to contact the police were fruitless as the security personnel ended up taking the criminal to the nearest police station themselves.

“Siya’s car was broken into 2 hours ago. The car guard caught the guy. We called the cops and still waiting for them to arrive. Also, don’t ever bother calling 10111. They literally don’t answer the phone”, exclaimed Rachel as she vented her frustration on social media.

This incident is one of many that ordinary people go through and it is reported that these criminals are sometimes given a warning and let off the hook. This one wasn’t so lucky as he was taken to the police station where he was later held.
