Anc women’s league demands chemical castration for rapists

With the recent rape and murder cases spiking up in the country the ANC Women’s League has proposed an eye-opening bill. To curb the ongoing gender based violence ANCWL president, Bathabile Dlamini, proposed that men guilty of rape should be given a life sentence accompanied by the life-changing chop.

This comes in light of 19-year-old UCT student Uyinene Mrwatyana who was raped and brutally killed by a post office employee. Dlamini, speaking at a media conference on Tuesday, urged South Africans to observe countries with harsh penalties for rapists.

The ANCWL president expressed her frustration at how women are demeaned at every level including the workplace
