Books: Dance of the heart – by Sibusisiwe Dhuwe

Would you leave a top earning job, such as senior investment analyst, to become a nanny? It sounds weird, I know but the main character in this book, Nomvula Nkosi, doesn’t seem to think so.

Tired of the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg Nomvula yearns for a fresh start in life in a different town with different people. She finds herself accepting a job as a child-minder of a 3-year-old girl (Mpho) who steals her heart. Things become interesting when her feelings of compassion and love latch on to her employer, 3-year-old Mpho’s dad.

If romance is your cup of coffee then this book is definitely for you. An in-depth look at a successful businesswoman who yearns for change and meaning in life. A fairytale testament to the concept of finding happiness from within and not outside.
